The School currently comprises three departments: Department of Chemistry, Department of Chemical Engineering, and Department of Chemical Biology and Pharmaceutical Sciences. It hosts the Jiangsu Provincial Demonstration Center for Chemical and Chemical Engineering Experimental Teaching, the Modern Analytical Testing Center, four provincial-level research and talent development platforms (Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Molecular Ferroelectric Science and Applications, Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Biopharmaceutical High-Tech Research, Jiangsu Engineering Research Center of Optoelectronic Functional Materials, and Jiangsu Engineering Research Center of Carbon-Rich Materials and Devices), four research institutes (Institute of Fine Chemicals, Institute of Pharmaceutical Engineering, Center for Ordered Matter Science, and Drug Research Center at Southeast University), three university-enterprise collaborative research centers (Southeast University-Haichang/Hailun (Taiwan) Biomaterials Engineering Technology Research Center, Southeast University-Zhongyan Changhua New Materials Research Center, and Southeast University-Yancheng Dongyang Bioproducts Research Center), as well as over 30 Jiangsu Province (enterprise) postgraduate workstations.
